Designed by Piero Lissoni, Red Baron is a modular bookshelf with a focus on material quality and personalized configuration for an individual touch and look, created to house and showcase your book and art collections.

Inspired by an aeroplane wing’s details, the Red Baron bookshelf combines parts that gradually become lighter, narrowing into a thin sheet of metal rendered refined by the almost invisible thickness and the finish itself.

Describing the bookshelf, Piero Lissoni says “Our reasoning focused on triplanes, on how the wings of airplanes are supported. Continuing to remove material, the quintessence of the design emerged: a very slender sheet of aluminium with vertical struts. Just like a triplane.”

Available in 4 different sizes and different material choices, the look of the bookshelf can be altered to suit either residential or workspace environment.
