Introducing Hays contemporary Pao series designed by the prolific Japanese industrial designer, Naoto Fukasawa. Named after the traditional Mongolian Pao tents, reminiscent of their sloped shape and the warm inviting community they accommodate.

Pao draws on Fukasawa’s aesthetic of elegant simplicity; creating an everyday object that draws on design values existing in the natural world. By keeping the aesthetics modest and simple, he brings the design into harmony with its environment.

The Pao Steel Floor Lamp includes a weighted steel base with a slim stand. The unique steel shade comes with a high-gloss finish in three different colours. Designed for use with two replaceable standard retrofits LED bulbs and featuring an on/off floor switch, the floor lamp provides an adjustable output of warm cosy light. The lamp’s functionality and minimalist design make it suitable for a wide range of spaces and use in domestic and corporate environments.
