Castiglioni’s characteristic wit and vigour is evident in the Lungangolo shelf, a functional and elegant storage solution designed in 1991 and now reissued by Danish company Karakter.

This shelving unit is constructed from four slender posts with a square cross-section which supports a series of square shelves. Shelves, a drawer and partial sides and backs are spaced to create a dynamic series of spaces that can be used to display objects to their best advantage or store items for ready access.

The Lugangolo shelf may be ordered in two different orientations, left and right, allowing it to be positioned in a corner.
