Dinah drawer unit by Shiro Kuramata for Cappellini.
The Dinah drawer unit was part of the celebrated ‘Progetti Compiuti’ collection, consisting of various chests of drawers with curved and linear forms. Initially designed in the 1970s, the range is now part of the MoMA’s permanent collection in New York.
Cappellini has re-released the unique storage units, staying true to the original designs. Dinah is a column unit of 18 drawers that open in both directions. The frame is made of laser-cut metal painted with black epoxy powder, whilst the drawers are made from a matte finished white lacquered wood.
Produced in a numbered, unlimited series.
