BM0253 Shelving System, Configuration 2 by Børge Mogensen for Carl Hansen & Søn. 

Adapted from a Børge Mogensen design from 1953, Carl Hansen has brought the BM0253 Shelving system into production for the first time.

Embodying the Danish designer’s concept of ‘building furniture’; the idea that furniture should be simple enough to withstand aesthetic trends whilst remaining flexible enough to adapt to the changing needs of people and spaces.

The minimalist modular shelving system consists of veneered shelves of varying sizes, a wooden cabinet, a tubular steel frame with varying lengths, all of which can be combined to suit the user’s needs.
